Lazio have loaned winger Sana Fernandes to Juve Stabia, the Serie B club holding an option to buy and Lazio retaining a buy-back clause.

According to La Lazio Siamo Noi, the option is set at €1.2 million next summer, with a €1.5 million buy-back. This was not disclosed in the official statement.

The 20-year-old, a Guinean-Portuguese prospect, has been highly rated at Formello, receiving first-team call-ups but no senior debut. He featured prominently in pre-season friendlies, yet Gennaro Gattuso decided against keeping him.

The move was confirmed by the club on Thursday via its website.

The arrangement mirrors the deal used for Romano Floriani Mussolini’s move to Juve Stabia. The Campania side later bought him, only for Lazio to trigger their counter-option before loaning him to Cremonese last summer. He is now 23, back at Formello and part of Gattuso’s plans for the new campaign.
