Sancidino Silva joins Al Irshad in Lebanon's second division | OneFootball

Sancidino Silva, once a highly rated Benfica prospect, has a new club in Lebanon.

According to Glorioso 1904, the Luso-Guinean winger, 32, has been announced by Al Irshad, who compete in the country's second division.

A contemporary of Bernardo Silva and João Cancelo at Seixal, he worked under Bruno Lage, João Tralhão and Hélder Cristóvão during his academy years.

He left Portugal in 2018 for Lausanne in Switzerland. He later joined Ararat Yerevan in Armenia, then moved to Saudi Arabia to play for Al-Taraji in the third tier at the time.

Further spells followed in Cyprus with Ermis Aradippou and in Oman with Sohar Club. More recently, he featured in Italy for Leonfortese, a fifth-tier side.

Lebanon becomes the sixth foreign country of his career as he looks to remain in professional football in its later stages.
