Sandman’s Definitive Graphically Enhanced Review of Season 2024/25

Article image:Sandman’s Definitive Graphically Enhanced Review of Season 2024/25

A little later than expected but I recently discovered the potency of AI, as evidenced in this mental collection of closing thoughts. And that’s a deep, dark, depraved rabbit hole you didn’t want to follow me down, especially when you learn to navigate round their censorship firewalls… #cough#… Anyway….

Thanks in aces of spades for your feedback and crack through the months, every comment, point and contention or opinion very much appreciated, even though…

Just remember – these ratings are definitive and in Biblical times would be lightning-carved into stone tablets by higher powers (probably aliens) to emphasise that. Nothing I can do about it…So, yeah…

…Buckle up and let’s put the season to bed before the mayhem revs up again. And, as ever, ‘MOS’ means ‘Moment Of the Season’ for the acronym-allergic.

Comments on Celtic Noise…

‘Some great reminders Sandman of much good in what seemed like the longest season with no winter break ….I think we suffered in the second part of the season without that break and refresh which caught us just short of a treble. Thanks for all your brilliant unique reviews throughout ….Hail Hail the Sandman 10/10.’ Magnificent 7

‘Shuperrrrb shummary of a season that came so close to being an excellent one. Thanks very much for your consistently hilarious take on each and every match. Definitely level with Lord Katsumoto in my book!’ North Cyprus Bhoy

‘A fair enough summation of the Season Sandman. As I think back we really were Jekyll and Hyde at times and the treble wouldn’t really have reflected that. We did seem to run out of steam and ideas towards the end, as was shown in the Cup Final. We shipped a lot of goals against ‘them’, oh aye and Dortmund, put these at the front of the caution burner. Having said that we did have rotating back 4 and the Nawrocki mystery to contend with. At least we didn’t qualify for this World Club Cup shambles (dunno what you had to do to qualify). We get to rest the players new and old ready for the next Season. Bring it on. Thanx for the laughs HH.’ Brimcbhoy

‘Love it….Very well done Sandman,” Lennono

‘The same high standard as all your match summaries throughout the season. As always thank you very much. Hail Hail,” Miktim
