Santos have agreed a new contract for forward Robinho Jr running until the end of 2031, with the deal to be signed in the coming days.
According to Globo.com, the agreement ends weeks of uncertainty during negotiations.
Promoted to the senior squad last season, Robinho Jr has made 23 appearances without scoring.
During talks, the club were instructed by his camp that he should not play for the under-20 side. His agent denied there had been any veto, saying it was a joint decision with the professional football department.
Strains between the parties were not new. In December, Santos approached his representatives with a renewal offer worth five times his current salary.
From the player's side, there was said to be no concrete financial discussion, and the proposal was not presented correctly or to the right person.
Beyond the pay rise and his elevation to the first team last year, the proposal presented at the end of 2025 was said to include performance-related bonuses and a career plan.
