Santos and Umbro unveil Pelé Brand shirt for Atlético-MG clash | OneFootball

According to Diario Do Peixe, Santos, Umbro and NR Sports have launched a collaboration, with the Pelé Brand to feature against Atlético-MG at Vila Belmiro at 20:00 on Saturday in the 11th round of the Brasileirão.

Players will wear a special shirt featuring Pelé’s iconic celebration in place of Umbro’s logo, which has been ceded for this match. The match-worn tops will be collected afterwards for planned activations.

The partnership starts a wider programme set for the second half of 2026, including exclusive products, campaigns and collector’s shirts numbered from one to 1091, mirroring Pelé’s Santos goal tally. It targets heritage, innovation and authenticity across generations.

Club president Marcelo Teixeira called Santos and the Pelé brand inseparable and wants further initiatives to follow. Umbro’s Brazil director Eduardo Dal Pogetto said the gesture is symbolic and strategic, with projects under way and a tie-up that could produce iconic actions in the coming years.

The Pelé Brand is launching a full rebrand this month under NR Sports, positioning it as a structured global asset with clear guidelines and international presence. Today’s shirt is the first of several collaborations being developed with Brazilian and international clubs.

Pelé Brand general manager Guto Cappio said the brand had been underused and would now be managed professionally, citing NR Sports’ work with Neymar Jr. NR Sports partner Neymar da Silva Santos said the company remains committed to helping restructure Santos and that putting the Pelé brand on the shirt boosts global visibility.
