Santos boost as Zé Rafael and Adonis return to training before Novorizontino quarter-final | OneFootball

Santos continued preparations for Sunday’s 16:00 quarter-final at Novorizontino in Novo Horizonte, with Zé Rafael and Adonis Frías back in group work and very possibly could be included in the matchday squad.

The session took place on Thursday at CT Rei Pelé. According to Globo.com, both have recovered, Zé from left-knee tendinitis and Adonis from a right-calf issue, and each completed much of the ball work with the group.

No players are currently in the medical department, so the full squad is available for the final phase of the Paulistão.

After players carried out recovery work on their day off, since reporting back on Wednesday the sessions have been held entirely on the pitch.

Neymar has been cleared to play for more than one half and could start.

A probable Santos XI: Gabriel Brazão, Igor Vinicius, Zé Ivaldo (Adonís), Luan Peres, Vini Lira, Arão, Bontempo, Menino (Zé Rafael), Neymar, Gabriel, Moisés (Rony).
