Santos confirm new deal for Samuel Pieri to 2029 | OneFootball

Santos confirmed midfielder Samuel Pierri has signed a new contract running to 2029.

Promoted to the first team this season, he made his senior debut against San Lorenzo at Vila Belmiro in the Copa Sudamericana, then featured in each of the last four matches under head coach Cuca.

President Marcelo Teixeira framed the renewal of homegrown talent as a club priority and noted Pierri has been with Santos since 2018. He also highlighted the support of the player's family, who joined him at the signing.

Born in São Bento do Sapucaí, Pierri joined the club at 10 and progressed through every age group. During his development he operated across all midfield roles.

His honours include the Paulista Sub-11 in 2019, the Copa Votoranim and the Nike Premier Cup Sub-15 in 2023, and the Paulista Sub-17 in 2024.

Pierri described fulfilling a childhood dream by reaching the senior side and said he wants to make more history with Santos, targeting trophies for the supporters. He aims to make the most of his chances and continue to evolve.
