Santos aim to have a full squad in the coming rounds of the Brasileirão, with only Lucas Veríssimo currently outside the group.

According to Globo.com, there are no players in the medical department and registration issues have been cleared, including Christian Oliva, so the intention is to have everyone who is training available.

Unlike Oliva, who had been training while awaiting registration, Veríssimo has not yet arrived in Brazil and has not worked under Juan Pablo Vojvoda.

The rest of the squad is available to Vojvoda for Tuesday’s match against Mirassol, the fifth round of the Campeonato Brasileiro, at 21:30 Brasília time.

Oliva adds another option in a midfield without a fully settled first-choice. During the Paulistão group phase, the Argentine coach adjusted selections according to players’ physical condition. Willian Arão, a pillar in the area, missed games.

Gabigol also had medical issues and sat out some matches, creating open competition with Thaciano, who has impressed when used as a forward.

Neymar is fully fit to continue in the Brasileirão and, later, the Copa do Brasil and Copa Sul-Americana. Last year he strung together six 90-minute outings, and the target now is to surpass that.
