Less than a week after suffering a humiliating 6-0 defeat to Vasco da Gama, Santos has already made a coaching change.

Since last Sunday, Santos had been searching for a new manager. Jorge Sampaoli's name was mentioned, but the Argentine was demanding too many expensive signings. In the end, it’s the Argentine Juan Pablo Vojvoda who was selected. He was the head coach of Fortaleza from 2021 until July 2025.
"Santos Futebol Clube has reached an agreement with Juan Pablo Vojvoda to become the new head coach of the professional football team. As part of an agreement signed on Friday the 22nd, the coach joins Peixão with a contract running until the end of 2026," the club announced in an official statement.
