Santos ended the first phase of the Paulistão with the third-highest net gate and outdrew Palmeiras for crowds. Diario Do Peixe reports that, using Federação Paulista de Futebol figures, the club averaged 17,614 paying fans across nine games and posted R$ 2.585.004,84 in net receipts, trailing only Corinthians and São Paulo.
Palmeiras averaged 17,209 in the same span, with R$ 725.737,13 in revenue. Last year Santos ranked third for stadium occupancy among Série A sides at 77%, behind Palmeiras on 79% and Corinthians on 85%.
The club’s backing also showed in the capital. In 2025, more than 100,000 attended three Santos home fixtures in São Paulo in the Brasileirão, with 35,240 against Ceará at Allianz Parque, over 37,000 versus Juventude and 54,000 paying against Vasco, both at Morumbis.
Club president Marcelo Teixeira said the numbers underline the connection between team and stands. He argued that, even in a challenging context, Santos mobilised supporters and converted attendance into revenue, vital for financial sustainability and for investment on and off the pitch.
He added that taking games to the capital forms part of a plan to strengthen the brand, widening visibility, engaging new audiences and boosting income. Administrative manager Luiz Fernando Vella said the priority was a strategy to increase revenue by valuing seat exclusivity and using São Paulo fixtures as a draw.
