Santos have partnered with Acqua Performance System at CT Rei Pelé to optimise the club’s aquatic set-up for training and recovery. The club said in a statement that it has incorporated the APS, a methodology developed by Pai e Filho Assessoria, a national reference in collective and large-scale pools.
Created specifically for elite sport, the APS treats the pool as part of the preparation environment, supporting training routines and recovery.
Unlike conventional pool treatment, it adopts an athlete-first approach. The system combines high precision chemical management, continuous monitoring of water parameters, automation, efficient filtration and complementary technologies.
A key focus is removing factors linked to respiratory, eye and skin discomfort, especially for athletes who use pools frequently. By tightening control of water conditions, it aims to support more consistent, higher quality sessions.
Pai e Filho bring more than 30 years of experience in collective pools and the APS is intended exclusively for high-performance training centres. At the training centre it will include technical oversight and precise monitoring of water quality for Santos players.
The arrival of APS formalises the partnership between Santos and Pai e Filho Assessoria, embedding a method designed to align water, recovery and high performance in daily work.
