Santos register Alvaro Barreal on Paulistão List A

Santos have registered forward Alvaro Barreal on the Paulistão List A after delayed paperwork, confirming him as a permanent signing from Cincinatti. According to Diario Do Peixe, the club now have 29 players on List A.

There are also 19 Meninos da Vila on List B for the competition.

Competition rules from the Paulista Football Federation allow up to 35 registrations on List A. Clubs have until 13 February to add players for the first phase. Teams reaching the quarter-finals may replace up to four names by 20 February.

Barreal joins the forwards group on List A.
