Santos send Neymar-signed shirts to Messi and his children | OneFootball

Santos have sent autographed, personalised Neymar Jr shirts to Messi and his children, highlighting their shared No 10 as the World Cup in June approaches.

The club said in a post that it celebrated the No 10 legacy of Neymar, Messi and Pelé, and sent greetings from Vila Belmiro.

The club’s media team shared photos on official channels, and Neymar reposted them on his own. The former Barcelona team-mates remain in touch off the pitch, and with Suárez they formed the famed MSN attack.

Before Neymar returned to Santos last year, there had been an expectation that Inter Miami in the United States might try to sign him to reunite the duo.

Neymar is recovering from an arthroscopy carried out at the end of last year and is close to a return.

He is expected to be the standout new inclusion against Velo Clube on Sunday 15 at 20:30 at Vila Belmiro, in the eighth and final round of the first phase of the Paulistão.
