Santos host Coritiba in the Brasileirão on Sunday, 17 May 2026 in São Paulo, with the hosts seeking a lift up the table and the visitors aiming to cement their Copa Sudamericana berth.
Santos and Coritiba met twice in the cup recently, drawing 0-0 before Santos won 2-0 away. In the league picture, Santos have banked 14 of their 18 points at home, while Coritiba sit ninth in the Sudamericana spots.
Peixe have clicked into gear with back-to-back wins after a run of draws across league and cup. Coxa, by contrast, have one win in their last four league matches and shipped five goals across their last two away league games.
Peixe are without Mayke, Thaciano, Lautaro Diaz, Gabriel Menino, Gustavo Henrique and Vinicius Lira through injury. Coxa miss Keno, Rodrigues and Fabinho, while Lucas Ronier is suspended and goalkeeper Pedro Morisco is sidelined.
Alvinegro Praiano's stronger home returns suggest they may look to impose themselves, though Coxa-Branca have three league wins on the road and could threaten on the break. The cup tie was tight over two legs and the away leg was effectively decided by a first half burst, so early control could matter again.
A win would move Peixe to 21 points and further ease them away from the relegation fight. Coxa would reach 23 points and could strengthen their hold on the Sudamericana places.
