São Paulo has entered a week of pressure and will face decisive days ahead. The Tricolor will have two important commitments in the Paulista Championship and is aiming for an immediate recovery after the defeat in their debut. In addition, the club’s board members will begin to decide the future of president Julio Casares.
São Paulo’s first commitment of the week takes place on the field. The Tricolor hosts São Bernardo this Thursday at 9:45 p.m. (Brasília time), at Morumbis, for the second round of the Paulistão. At home, the São Paulo team seeks to give a response to the fans after the poor result in the debut.
The Tricolor squad will have only two days of training for the match, as they had a day off and will return to training on Tuesday morning.
One day after the match between São Paulo and São Bernardo, the club’s board members will meet to deliberate on the impeachment of president Julio Casares. The meeting is scheduled for Friday, at Morumbis, with the first call at 6:30 p.m. (Brasília time) and the second at 7:00 p.m. The vote will be secret.
