São Paulo hire psychologist Nathany Cavalcante for women’s team

São Paulo has announced the signing of sports psychologist Nathany Cavalcante to join the professional women’s football staff. A specialist in sports psychology, Nathany began her journey in football at Clube Sociedade Esportiva (CSE) and later worked at Centro Sportivo Alagoano (CSA). She now arrives at Tricolor to strengthen the emotional, mental, and behavioral development work with the athletes.

On Thursday (14), Nathany carried out her first activity with the São Paulo squad. In the proposed exercise, the athletes took part in a reflection on what is non-negotiable in their lives, such as values, behaviors, attitudes, and choices.

The initiative aimed to promote internal self-assessment, encouraging each player to look inward, recognize her own values, and understand which behaviors need to be strengthened daily, both on and off the pitch.
