São Paulo prosecutors have demanded new explanations from Corinthians over payments to an irregular security company registered to then operations manager Fernando José da Silva, with three invoices totalling R$ 676,6 mil in 2025. According to Meu Timao, the contractor was Mega Assessoria Operacional Ltda.
Prosecutor Cassio Conserino requested proof of payment for all three notes to identify who authorised the transfers, how they were made and the final recipient. He also asked for the contract and whether the company’s representative still works for the club, and in what capacity.
The office cited ge.globo in flagging contradictions with Fernando’s continued presence despite president Osmar Stabile saying he held no role. He joined two Military Police escort requests in April and May. The club told prosecutors he worked only in September and October 2025 as Social Club operations coordinator.
Fernando will be questioned by videoconference on 15 June at 11:15. Corinthians has 10 days to supply the requested documents, and Stabile will be heard in due course. Prosecutors are investigating possible offences including theft, ideological falsehood and other irregularities.
Sports Insider reported that Mega, opened on 3 July 2025 by Fernando, worked at the CT and Parque São Jorge in September and October 2025 without Federal Police clearance or a contract.
Stabile said he asked Fernando to reorganise security after the 31 May invasion, denied ordering the firm’s creation, called it an administrative error, and said Fernando formed a company to invoice work from June to August.
