England were beaten by Senegal in Nottingham whilst Carlo Ancelotti got his first win as Brazil manager. Here’s how the Premier League internationals got on in the latest round of international matches.

England 1-3 Senegal

16 Premier League players were in action as Senegal put three past Thomas Tuchel’s England side in a friendly last night. Chelsea’s Trevoh Chalobah made his England debut alongside teammate Levi Colwill in defence. Arsenal’s Miles Lewis-Skelly and Crystal Palace keeper Dean Henderson also featured at the back.

Arsenal teammates Declan Rice and Bukayo Saka started with Crystal Palace’s Eberechi Eze and Newcastle’s Anthony Gordon in midfield. Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers, Nottingham Forest’s Morgan Gibbs-White, Liverpool’s Curtis Jones and Chelsea winger Noni Madueke all came off the bench for England.

Crystal Palace winger Ismaila Sarr scored for Senegal whilst Chelsea striker Nicholas Jackson assisted a goal. Everton duo Iliman Ndiaye and Idrissa Gueye also started for the African side.

Argentina 1-1 Colombia

Enzo Fernandez saw red as Argentina were held by Colombia in their World Cup qualifier.

Liverpool’s Luis Diaz scored an excellent solo goal as he dribbled inside from the left wing before placing the ball past Aston Villa’s Emiliano Martinez in goal.

Tottenham’s Cristian Romero started for Argentina and Crystal Palace duo Daniel Munoz and Jefferson Lerma started for Colombia.

Brazil 1-0 Paraguay

Five Premier League stars started Carlo Ancelotti’s first win as Brazil boss.

Newcastle’s Bruno Guimaraes started in midfield alongside Manchester United’s Casemiro. Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson, Arsenal’s Gabriel Martinelli and Casemiro’s new United teammate Matheus Cunha made up the five.

Tottenham striker Richarlison came off the bench for Ancelotti’s side whilst Brighton midfielder Julio Enciso started for Paraguay.

Uruguay 2-0 Venezuala

Tottenham’s Rodrigo Bentancur was back from suspension for Uruguay and provided an assist for their second goal as they eased past Venezuala in their World Cup Qualifier.

Manchester United’s Manuel Ugarte also started the match.

Peru 0-0 Ecuador

Moises Caicedo startede as Ecuador were held by Peru in their World Cup Qualifier.

Ecuador are already qualified for the 2026 World Cup.

Denmark 5-0 Lithuania

Manchester United duo Christian Eriksen and Patrick Dorgu started for Denmark as they put five past Lithuania. Eriksen also got an assist.

Fulham centre-half Joachim Andersen managed to get a clean sheet.

Sweden 4-3 Algeria

Manchester City’s new left back Rayan Ait-Nouri started for Algeria as they were edged out by Sweden.

Sweden were without Newcastle’s Alexander Isak and Tottenham’s Dejan Kulusevski.
