Sarri is expected to make two enforced changes to Lazio’s line-up for the Parma clash, with Patric and Mario Gila unlikely to feature.
Patric had been filling in as a deep-lying playmaker while Nicolo Rovella and Danilo Cataldi were sidelined, but he suffered a training knock earlier this week and will miss out. According to La Lazio Siamo Noi, Cataldi has returned in time to reclaim the regista role between Kenneth Taylor and Fisayo Dele-Bashiru. The 32-year-old has struggled with injuries in recent seasons.
Gila is also expected to sit out, still troubled by the knee inflammation that forced him off against Bologna before the international break. Oliver Provstgaard is set to join Alessio Romagnoli, Adam Marusic and Nuno Tavares across the back.
Toma Basic hopes to end his two-month lay-off and make the squad, though he is not fit to start. Luca Pellegrini is doubtful, while Mattia Zaccagni, Rovella and Ivan Provedel remain long-term absentees.
Daniel Maldini is expected to lead the line again, flanked by Gustav Isaksen and Pedro, so Boulaye Dia, Tijjani Noslin and Matteo Cancellieri should begin on the bench.
Lazio probable XI, 4-3-3: Motta in goal, Marusic, Romagnoli, Provstgaard and Nuno Tavares in defence, Dele-Bashiru, Cataldi and Taylor in midfield, Isaksen, Maldini and Pedro in attack.
