Multiple outlets report that Saša Kalajdžić is close to joining Eintracht Frankfurt on a season-long loan from Wolves with the clubs still discussing a buy option.
Frankfurt are trying to insert a buy option in the loan that is worth between €10-15m reports Bild but the deal will not collapse if Wolves do not agree on a buy option.
The deal for Kalajdžić will likely be completed by the weekend meaning he will likely be able to make his debut against RB Leipzig next weekend.
Kalajdžić is likely to be the first striker to join Frankfurt in the winter as they look for a potential alternative for Rafiu Durosinmi whose move to the club collapsed earlier in the week. Currently, Frankfurt only have one senior striker in Jessic Ngankam as Omar Marmoush will travel to the Africa Cup of Nations with Egypt.
The arrival of Kalajdžić will be the third deal that Frankfurt have completed in the winter window after the arrival of Donny van de Beek on loan from Manchester United and the announcement that Nathaniel Brown will join from Nürnberg in the summer.
