Serie A leaders Inter Milan tore apart mid-table Sassuolo in yesterday’s league showdown at the Mapei Stadium.
According to Corriere dello Sport via FCInterNews, Inter’s risky approach paid off as they claimed a landslide 5-0 victory.
Cristian Chivu’s free-scoring team scored at least five goals for the second time in their last three league matches.
Furthermore, Federico Dimarco delivered another statement performance, racking up three assists to inspire Inter’s memorable triumph.

Dimarco grabbed the headlines for his well-documented playmaking prowess.
However, Lautaro Martinez equaled another remarkable club record, drawing level with Roberto Boninsegna as Inter’s third-best goalscorer ever.
Moreover, Chivu’s men have now bagged a jaw-dropping 57 goals in Serie A this season, at least 16 more than any other team in the league.
With an average of 2.37 goals per game, Inter are also among the most prolific sides in Europe’s top-five leagues.
Therefore, it’s fair to say that Chivu’s direct approach has come as an upgrade on Simone Inzaghi’s more methodical style.
