Sky Sport Italia reports that Serie B side Sassuolo have rejected a €13m bid from Galatasaray for French winger Armand Laurienté.
Turkish giants Galatasaray made a late bid on Friday to sign Sassuolo star Laurienté, according to Sky Sport Italia transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, but the Neroverdi rejected the offer.
The report claims that Galatasaray’s proposal was worth €13m plus a 10% sell-on clause.
Sassuolo were relegated to Serie B last season but want to keep hold of their stars, especially Laurienté and injured Italian winger Domenico Berardi.
Laurienté has been a long-time target of Galatasaray, and the Turkish club opened talks with Sassuolo club in August. However, Giovanni Carnevali insisted that the Neroverdi were not considering the winger’s sale.
The summer transfer window for Turkish clubs ends today, Friday, September 13.
Laurienté, 25, has made two appearances across all competitions this season, scoring one goal. His contract at the Mapei Stadium runs out in June 2027.
