Premier League football tips and predicitions

15:00 - Chelsea v Everton: Back KDH to haunt his old club

Mark Stinchcombe: Chelsea have now failed to win any of their last four games across all competitions, losing two of them and scoring just three times. It doesn't surprise me given Enzo Maresca's constant chopping and changing of his starting lineup affecting the rhythm of the team. As a result, there's no way I could be entertaining the 4/6 available on the home side, especially having dropped more points than any other side at home this season, against an in-form Everton side with four wins out of five.

One of Everton's key contributors of late has been attacking midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall with three goals in this run and four for the season. He's played predominantly as the number 10 in a 4-2-3-1, allowing him to get into the penalty area and on the end of chances. Indeed, 75% of his shots have come inside the penalty area and six-yard box. He's 13/2 to score anytime and I'm sure he's chomping at the bit against his old club.

15:00 - Liverpool v Brighton: Back the Seagulls on the handicap

Mark O'Haire: Brighton head to Anfield having scored in 23 of their past 26 away Premier League matches with the Seagulls often operating at their best as underdogs. Remarkably, Fabian Hurzeler's outfit have lost just once in a 21-game sample when enjoying less than 50% of possession, bagged four wins in six this term with a lower share of the ball.

Albion also possess an outrageously impressive output in the final-third when facing elite opposition. Brighton are averaging 16.1 shots per-game across 10 games against Liverpool, Arsenal and Man City during Hurzeler's reign, as well as an eye-catching 1.78 xG per-game. Such impressive numbers make the visitors interesting outsiders here.

We can back Brighton with a +1 Asian Handicap start at 1.78. Liverpool need to beat the Seagulls by two clear goals for the selection to lose, and should Albion get on the scoresheet as we expect, the Reds will require a minimum of three goals for our preferred play to fall. That's a position I'm keen to support on Saturday.

17:00 - Burnley v Fulham: Back Wilson to make an impact

The Opta Stat:

Fulham's Harry Wilson has been involved in a goal in each of his last three Premier League appearances (2 goals, 1 assist), his joint best run with a goal or assist. The last Welshman to do so in four games in a row was Brennan Johnson for Nottingham Forest in January/February 2023.

20:00 - Arsenal v Wolves: Back 13/2 Bet Builder

Dave Tindall: There are numerous ways to get some decent odds from this game and one avenue is combining the goalscorer and cards markets.

Bukayo Saka came on as a late sub away to Club Brugge so looks set to start here.

The England star has netted in five of his 10 home games in all competitions this season and should be on penalties. Let's pencil him in for a goal.

Wolves may look half-hearted to their own fans but that hasn't stopped the card count rising.

They're 18th out of 20 in the Fair Play Table having picked up 31 yellows and two reds.

Three Wolves players were booked in the 4-1 home loss to Manchester United last time while in Edwards' only away game so far, at Villa, four of his men were cautioned.

This could be a day of chasing shadows and frustration so Over 2.5 Away Cards appeals at 11/8.

EFL tips and predictions

15:00 Championship - Leicester v Ipswich: Back away goals

Jack Critchley: Leicester's inability to control a game has been a recurring theme this season. The Foxes have raced into the lead in each of their last two games, and although they held out against Derby at the weekend, they were unable to keep things tight enough on Wednesday night. Marti Cifuentes waited too long to make the changes and his side were fairly lucky to even take a point back from Ashton Gate. The return of Ben Nelson at the heart of the defence is a positive, yet there are some players, such as Patson Daka, who simply look uninterested in fighting for the cause.

Clean sheets have been at a premium for Cifuentes' men and they haven't kept anyone off the scoresheet since their stalemate with leaders Coventry in mid-September.

Ipswich put in a professional display to edge past Stoke in midweek. Keiran McKenna's side could easily have added to the early goal, yet they looked fairly comfortable throughout. The Northern Irishman has the luxury of being able to rotate for this game and he has shown more flexibility with various tweaks to the system which has them set up in more of a 4-3-3 with players continuously rotating.

Their form on the road hasn't been vintage, although they've had one or two excellent results and they should enjoy facing Leicester's back four, which has been far from watertight.

15:00 L1 - Blackpool v Lincoln: Back away win and 27/1 treble

Alan Dudman: Lincoln moved up to third in midweek with a thoroughly professional display against Barnsley. A high-tempo game saw the Imps easily take the points with a 3-1 victory and as usual, a feature of a Michael Skubala team, they started quickly.

Praise for Skubala too for tinkering the side with changes and utilising Tom Bayliss in a holding role

13/10.
