Luton are looking to win three successive league games for the first time since April last season, having beaten Wycombe Wanderers (2-1) (a painful defeat for the column as we were on Luton) and Exeter City (3-2) in their last two league matches.
Stockport got us up and running on Tuesday with the win and Over 1.5 Goals (at home to Northampton) but have lost each of their last four away league games; as many as in their prior 20 away league matches (W10 D6), so this is a fine time to address this ropey away run.
Have Luton fully turned a corner? Well, the 13/8 price for Hatters lovers perhaps leans to the yes. I disagree. Stockport are still chasing a play-off spot and played pretty well at Lincoln recently without getting anything from the game.

Dom Ballard created history for Leyton Orient on Tuesday, bagging three goals on the night for his third hat-trick of the season - a feat equal to the great Tommy Johnston, for whom the South Stand in E10 is named after.
Ballard has been different class this season for a team that have been patchy to say the least.
One thing that they haven't failed to deliver is goals. BTTS backers have picked up winning bets in that market in Orient's last seven matches - all seven Over 2.5 Goals too.
I toyed with the idea of Ballard first goal here at 4s, but Orient are chasing a fourth straight win. Wycombe are a side I am beginning to dislike more and more.
Saturday 15:00
Joe Taylor's goals are salvaging a disappointing season for Barnsley. Taylor was on the scoresheet again on Tuesday in a 1-1 with Wigan, Barnsley's third successive draw.
It was a desperate first half display against a struggling Wigan side, with Conor Hourihane's team failing to find any passes and were opened up easily by long balls from out wide.
Doncaster are unbeaten in their last three league games (W1 D2); only in their first four league matches of 2026 have they enjoyed a longer unbeaten run this season (W2 D2). Three of their five away wins this season have come in 2026 and might be worth a punt here in a match of two poor teams.

The MK Dons are very much finding their groove, and they chiselled out another win on Wednesday evening against Colchester. The 1-0 puts them two points behind Bromley for the top spot and you have to go back to New Year's Day the last time Paul Warne's side lost a match.
Colchester helped the hosts going with a back five early in the game and were too negative and Warne's men came away with a far superior xG of 1.72 against Col U's 0.72. The Essex team created no chances either.
Danny Cowley was complimentary of the Dons afterwards by saying: "I've lived League Two a long time and they're probably the best team that I can remember in League Two."
Barnet have won just one of their five Football League games against MK Dons (D2 L2), a 1-0 away victory in January 2008 courtesy of an Ismail Yakuba strike - a player I remember well as I tried to get an interview with him when he was linked to Arsenal, and was told to speak to an agent, and there endeth the story.

Notts County have lost their last two home league games, as many defeats as across their prior 16 outings at Meadow Lane combined (W11 D3), so the system of going with the Magpies at home is failing.
That's no reason to desert them as their home record stacks up well against the big guns with 11 wins, F35 A19.
County played well in the recent 0-1 home loss to Grimsby, a terrific match by all accounts for a fourth tier match with two progressive sides.
Martin Paterson's side blew away Accrington 0-4 in midweek with Jodi Jones, so often the catalyst, continuing his personal run of scoring form on nine minutes to tee up the others.
County carry too much of a goal threat to ignore here, and while a short price, can break down Cheltenham who are unbeaten in eight but six draws.
Saturday 15:00
Barrow have lost 15 of their 17 away Football League games against Grimsby Town (W2), failing to score in 11 of those matches. The Cumbrian side did win this exact fixture last season, however and are on course to break the record of most managers sacked in a season.
Dino Maamria lasted just six games and interim manager Sam Foley has a task bordering Herculean now to rouse his troops into life. Barrow have been one of the worst teams to grace this division for many a year and have won just once in 2026.
The Mariners are unbeaten in their last nine home league games (W5 D4), last having a longer run in the Football League between February and September 2006 (12) and in theory should be one of the most straightforward cases of backing a 4/7 shot this weekend.
