Saudi Arabia continue to view Vinicius Jr. as their ultimate dream signing, but any immediate move remains firmly on hold as the Brazilian is fully committed to Real Madrid, according to a report from AS by journalist Jose Felix Diaz.

Despite persistent interest from the Middle East, the forward has made it clear that his priority remains at the Santiago Bernabeu, where he wants to continue his career and extend his contract beyond its current 2027 expiry.

Vinicius is entirely settled in Madrid both professionally and personally. At 25, he sees himself as a central figure in the club’s present and future plans, and his desire is not influenced by short-term form, criticism, or the emotional moments.

There have been some movement

As such, recent contacts have already taken place between Real Madrid and the player’s representatives, and both parties are fully aware of each other’s expectations.

While an official renewal is still pending, there is optimism that a final agreement will be reached sooner rather than later.

Those close to the negotiations believe that once the extension is formalised, it will close the door on external speculation and bring long-term stability for all sides involved.

Saudi continue to dream

For now, the lack of a signed agreement continues to leave a small window of hope open for Saudi Arabia, who remain convinced that one day they will succeed in bringing Vinicius to their league.

Their confidence is based on long-term ambition rather than short-term movement. Even so, inside Madrid there is no concern over his commitment, with the player maintaining the same relationship with teammates and staff as always.

Once the renewal is finalised, all external noise surrounding a potential Saudi move is expected to disappear instantly.

Until then, interest from the Middle East will continue to exist in the background.
