Vinicius Junior’s situation at Real Madrid is becoming more complicated, and PSG appear ready to monitor how things develop. Once the 2025-26 campaign wraps up, the forward will be down to one year on a deal that runs through June 2027.

That leaves Real Madrid facing a decision to either push for a new agreement soon or explore a transfer next summer rather than risk losing him for nothing.

With Kylian Mbappé arriving last year, the club could see this as an opportunity to capitalize on Vinicius’ value and reshape the team around the former PSG standout.

SPORT has noted that Vinicius would be open to playing for Luis Enrique in Paris. What happens from here is unclear, though Mbappé could see a situation that resembles Neymar Junior’s departure from Spain.

TALKSport reports that officials in Saudi Arabia have begun putting pieces in place for a possible deal that could make Vinicius Junior the highest-paid player in the sport. Moreover, the outlet reports that Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah is still seen as a major long-term target for the Saudi Pro League.

Amid the rumors linking the Brazilian to the Parisians, the chief editor of Football Transfers, Robin Bairner, gave a blunt message to PSG about the Real Madrid star.

“I can barely think of a player less suited to PSG in terms of their attitude than Vini Jr.,” Bairner wrote on X.

SPORT recently reported that Vinícius’ future at Real Madrid remains uncertain, as the club’s leadership is unwilling to match his request for a salary equal to Kylian Mbappé’s. Mbappé reportedly earns more than €600,000 per week, while Vinícius currently earns just over €400,000 per week.
