Streamer Zack Nani announced in recent hours that matches from the Saudi league will be broadcast for free on his Twitch channel. Speaking to L'Équipe, Zack Nani shared more details about the project. "These are rights I am purchasing personally, not through an investor or another company. It's the biggest investment I've made with my company, which produces all my shows and YouTube videos. We're talking a sum well into six figures for one season, with an option for a second. It's an exclusive for the free platform, so a pay TV channel could still technically acquire the rights in France," he explained.

He then explained how the broadcasts would work: "I'm allowed to stream up to three matches per week, the best from each matchday, with an obligation to do at least one. I plan to do more than just one. Everything will be free on Twitch and YouTube. When it comes to commentary, I've been a football fan since I was a kid, but I'm also someone from the internet who follows other practices like esports. I want to bring some of that approach so it's not just ‘like on TV’. I've commentated before, but not as well as the pros who do this for a living. My goal is to offer something different and, humbly, to slightly change the way football is watched in France."

The streamer also shared some info about the additional content that will surround the matches: "Each week, for the biggest match, I want to create a format with guests who won't really commentate in the traditional sense but will rather watch the game with us. There will be a football expert—because it's important to be knowledgeable—but also someone less specialized to bring a different vibe and interaction with the Twitch chat. For the other matches, commentary will be more low-key, at my place, maybe with another guest joining online."
