Sbaï shines as Angers climb to sixth | OneFootball

Angers beat Troyes 2-0 at Stade Raymond Kopa, climbing from 11th to sixth in Ligue 1 thanks to goals from Prosper Peter and Amine Sbaï.

Peter opened the scoring with a close-range header in the 42nd minute after a fine Amine Sbaï cross.

Soon after the restart, Amine El Ouazzani had a finish ruled out after a VAR review (51.).

Angers doubled their lead when Sbaï swept in from El Ouazzani's pass (57.).

Anthony Lopes preserved the clean sheet with a low stop from Kandet Diawara in the sixth minute of second half stoppage time.

Eight minutes of added time were signalled as Troyes pushed late on.

Angers controlled long spells with 60.9% possession and completed 86.3% of their passes. Troyes delivered 11 corners and registered 19 total attempts but found only three on target.
