Schalke are moving for Felix Uduokhai after sealing Robin Gosens earlier this week, with talks opened to bring the defender back to the Bundesliga on loan from Beşiktaş with a purchase option, according to BuLi News.

The newly promoted side are discussing an initial loan with an option to buy. The 27-year-old is said to be keen on a switch to Gelsenkirchen.

Uduokhai remains under contract at Beşiktaş until 2027. He spent 2024/25 on loan from FC Augsburg, before the Turkish club triggered a reported €5 million option last summer to make the move permanent.

Since arriving in Istanbul, the centre-back has made 58 competitive appearances for Beşiktaş.

If agreed, the former Germany youth international would be Schalke’s fifth addition of the summer, following Kevin Müller, Satoshi Tanaka, Junior Adamu and Gosens.
