It has been an intensive start to life in the Kraichgau for Andreas Schicker. The Austrian has been the managing director for sport at Bundesliga club TSG Hoffenheim since October 2024, has already made one coaching change and has now finished his first transfer window at TSG. The managing director for sport talked about all of that in the TSG podcast, "Ein Dorf ist die Welt" (A Village is the World).
After helping Sturm Graz to win the double of league and cup in his homeland of Austria last season, the former professional footballer is now embracing a new challenge in the Kraichgau: a battle against relegation. Various changes were made to the squad in January to that end.
In 'Ein Dorf ist die Welt', the 38-year-old former pro talks about the intense winter transfer window which has just come to an end, assesses the individual personnel decisions made at TSG, offers up a sporting outlook ahead of the team's upcoming challenge against Union Berlin and once again underlined the great importance of the "Hoffe" fans in the joint battle to beat the drop.
