Wow! Austria advanced to the Round of 32 at the 2026 FIFA World Cup after a thrilling 3-3 draw against Algeria, and after a final few minutes that were mind-blowing! Our goalkeeper Alex Schlager – who had no chance in stopping the three goals – and his Austria teammates found themselves trailing 2-3 after twice taking the lead, but Sasa Kalajdzic's last-second equaliser secured second place in the group and a spot in the knockout stages.
This means we have a huge match to look forward to on Thursday at 21:00 CEST – a clash with European champions Spain. The best part: there will be another official public viewing event at our Red Bull Arena! With increased capacity, allowing 4,000 fans to cheer on their team, Austria's World Cup journey will hopefully continue! This time, however, advance ticket booking is required. All further information can be found here:
By the way: If you'd like to get properly kitted out for the Round of 32, you can do so at our Bullshop. In our fan store at the Red Bull Arena, we currently have official PUMA Austria jerseys as well as other select Austrian Football Association (ÖFB) merchandise available!
