Borussia Mönchengladbach sporting director Rouven Schröder has confirmed reports that the club are closing in on the signing of David Herold from Karlsruher SC.
Speaking at a press conference on Thursday, Schröder revealed that the deal is in its final stages but not yet completed.

“We are on the right track,” Schröder said, adding:
“But nothing has been signed yet, and there is still a medical check pending. And if nothing has been signed yet, then the transfer is not complete.”
The 23-year-old left-back has registered eight assists in 34 appearances for Karlsruhe this season.
