Scotland have kept alive their hopes of going to the 2022 World Cup with an impressive away win in Austria.

Steve Clarke's side put in a spirited display and came away with a 1-0 win thanks to Lyndon Dykes' penalty.

There was some controversy around the decision, as it took a VAR call for the decision to be confirmed.

Scotland did have chances through Stephen O'Donnell and Che Adams to add to the scoreline, but had to settle for a narrow win in the end.

The result means Scotland are one point ahead of Israel for second spot in the group, which would take them to a playoff.
