Scottish Champions visit the (Green and) White House

After a tough morning of training in the heat at the George Mason Stadium in Fairfax, Virginia on the campus of George Mason University, the Celtic squad headed into Washington DC for a special spot of sightseeing.

Brendan Rodgers' squad were invited to visit The White House, the official residence of the President of the United States, and it was a memorable occasion for the entire Celtic party, as our picture gallery shows.

The Hoops will be back at work on the training ground tomorrow as they continue their pre-season preparations as well as gearing up for this weekend's friendly match against MLS side, DC United at Audi Field Stadium, which you can watch LIVE and EXCLUSIVE on Celtic TV.

Then it will be the battle of the Scottish and English Champions in a mouth-watering tie just three days later when Celtic and Manchester City battle it out at Kenan Stadium in North Carolina.

The Celts will close out the tour on Saturday, July 27, against Premier League side, Chelsea as Enzo Maresca’s side take on the Scottish Champions at Notre Dame Stadium in Indiana.
