Pressure is growing on Tottenham Hotspur manager Igor Tudor after four straight defeats and a difficult night in Madrid.

The Croatian was brought in to steady the ship after the sacking of Thomas Frank earlier this year. However, individual errors have not helped as Tudor now made it four defeats in as many games.

"We apologise to the fans and to everyone," Tudor said after the 5-2 defeat against Atlético de Madrid in the first leg of the Champions League round of 16.

"It is a difficult moment and everything looks like it is going wrong."

Some bookies are beginning to think that Spurs may look to replace Tudor already and former Nottingham Forest manager Sean Dyche is currently a 2/1 favourite with one bookmaker.

Other names mentioned include figures with a link to the club such as Mauricio PochettinoRobbie Keane, Ryan Mason, and even 79-year-old Harry Redknapp who would make current Torquay United caretaker Neil Warnock (77) seem like a young whippersnapper in comparison.

More realistically, Roberto De Zerbi has been given 4/1 odds with the Italian currently out of a job after leaving Marseille last month.

Things don't look like they'll get any easier for Spurs just yet with a trip to Anfield at the weekend before Atleti come to town for the second leg next week.
