Just as the Seattle Sounders were getting healthy, they're, well, not.

Jordan Morris has officially rejoined the ranks of Seattle's injured after exiting last week's draw against the Colorado Rapids when reaggravating a previous hamstring issue. Brian Schmetzer told reporters this week that Morris' recovery time is likely in the neighborhood of six weeks.

Meanwhile, Jesus Ferreira has joined Morris among the ranks of the injured for at least one week with an adductor injury, the same issue that forced Miami's Lionel Messi to miss international duty with Argentina during the March international window.

Morris' frustrations continue

Morris had only returned to action on April 19 after about 40 days between appearances, playing the final 28 minutes of the Sounders' 3-0 home win over Nashville SC.

He's made only five appearances -- two starts -- during league play this year, yet still is tied for the team lead with three goals despite the last of those coming on March 8.

The good news for Seattle is that Danny Musovski, the most likely direct replacement for Morris, is the other Sounder on three goals, and has scored in each of his last three matches.

Ferreira was just getting started

Meanwhile, Ferreira had enjoyed a healthy start to his time with Seattle after an offseason move from Dallas but looked to only be recently finding his footing in the last few games.

Ferreira had two primary assists in the victory over Nashville, his second and third on the season while he still searches for his first goal in a Sounders shirt.

He also appeared to be getting closer to that first goal after he registered shots in three consecutive appearances for the first time over his last three games.

Injuries to key contributors have been a near-contant this season for Brian Schmetzer's group.
