Sebastian Kehl ‘to be considered’ for AC Milan sporting director

Sebastian Kehl has been linked with AC Milan’s vacant sporting director role.

Gazzetta dello Sport reports that the former Borussia Dortmund sporting director, 43, is among the candidates to take over the position.

The report also names Flamengo technical director José Boto, Devin Özek, most recently sporting director at Fenerbahçe, and Jason Ayto, who recently left his role at Brighton & Hove Albion.

Eintracht Frankfurt board member for sport Markus Krösche had also been linked with the job, but opted to remain with the Bundesliga side.

Kehl was relieved of his duties at Dortmund in March.
