Sebastián Villa cleared of sexual assault charges

Sebastián Villa, former Boca forward who currently plays for Independiente Rivadavia de Mendoza, was acquitted by the courts in the case of "sexual abuse with carnal access" that had been filed against him since 2021 as a result of a complaint by his ex-partner.

Both the prosecutor in the case and the complainant (Rocío Tamara Doldán) decided to drop the charges, and the Oral Criminal Court No. 4 of Lomas de Zamora ruled to acquit the 29-year-old Colombian footballer.
