Voetbalkrant are reporting that on loan 20 year-old Italian forward Sebastiano Esposito could be recalled by in January after the players lack of game time at Anderlecht. Esposito was loaned to Anderlecht in order to get an increase in game time, however the player has failed to cement a place in the Anderlecht starting XI. He is now behind the likes of young striker Mario Stroeykens and former Fortuna Dusseldorf and Schalke striker Benito Raman.

Esposito has played just 750 minutes of football in his 21 appearances for Anderlecht across all competitions, scoring just two goals. Last season the young forward was on loan at FC Basel in Switzerland, where he managed 7 goals and 9 assists in 34 matches.

There have been rumours circulating that another Anderlecht player will return to their parent club in January, however unlike Esposito, the club would rather hang on to this one. Wolves have been apparently interested in bringing Fabio Silva back to the midlands to help their problems in front of goal. Anderlecht stated at the beginning of the season that there was no option for a recall in the loan deal that brought Silva to Brussels.
