Sébastien Piocelle named Bourg-en-Bresse sporting director as club overhauls governance

FBBP01, narrowly kept up in National, which will become Ligue 3 next season, have named Sébastien Piocelle sporting director amid a sweeping governance shake-up.

On Thursday the club said it had overhauled its structure, appointing northern entrepreneur Germain Targowski to replace Gilles Garnier, who will remain with the club.

The announcement follows a spring when the Ain club almost suffered administrative relegation for financial reasons.

Piocelle’s arrival is presented as part of a gradual rebuild aimed at a sustainable project rooted in strong human values, training and local development.

The former midfielder, 47, was unattached after leaving Beauvais in N2 in November.
