We are ready for part two of our hat-trick of three home games in three different competitions. This Sunday, our first match of November sees us start the second half of the ADMIRAL Bundesliga season.
Just like in our league opener at the beginning of August, we'll be against SV Ried. The newly promoted team from Upper Austria not only managed to snatch two points from us back then (2-2), but have maintained their position in the middle of the table since. Currently in seventh place with a total of 14 points, the team coached by Maximilian Senft are firmly in the running for a spot in the championship group.
Just like us – but a day earlier – Ried were able to celebrate reaching the cup quarter-finals after 120 minutes. Against second-division Bregenz, the game remained goalless for a long time; only late in stoppage time of extra-time did the Vikings manage to force the ball over the goal line. In the league, Mutandwa & Co. recently suffered a 0-2 defeat against SK Rapid, but before that, they secured two victories against WAC (2-1) and WSG Tirol (2-0).

Once again, we need to be on our guard, but at the same time live up to our role as favourites in front of our home crowd to win and stay level on points with league leaders Sturm Graz!
Tickets for the upcoming match are available online in our Ticket Shop. As usual, Sky Sport Austria will also be broadcasting the game. Everything you need to know for your visit to the stadium can be found in our matchday information:
The days leading up to Sunday will naturally be focused on recovery after the intense cup match. We've made it to the next round, that's what counts. Now we have an important home game against SV Ried, and we want to win it. Ried are one of the best promoted teams in a long time in terms of points, so they've held their own very well in the league. Therefore, like every league game, this will be anything but an easy task. We are the favourites though, and we gladly accept that role! We need to try to be dominant in possession to give the opponent few opportunities to create chances, while simultaneously capitalising on our own opportunities to steer the game in the right direction right from the start.

The last two matches were very important, and now we want to build on those positive results. Of course, these victories have given us a boost – that goes for me personally as well. I'm happy to be here in Salzburg and appreciate every minute I spend on the pitch. Now we want to build on these successes against Ried and are going into this match highly motivated. Our aim is clear: we want to secure our third consecutive victory and show that we can deliver consistent performances.
