Former Arsenal and Germany midfielder Mesut Ozil sent a message of love to Juventus, professing that the Old Lady were the ‘one club that were missing’ in his career.
The 35-year-old, who hung up his boots at the end of last season, won a long list of honours across a career that saw spells with the Gunners, Fenerbahce, Real Madrid and the Germany national team. Titles in the former midfielder’s locker include the World Cup, a Spanish league title and four FA Cups.
Ozil sent a message of love to Juventus on his Twitter, writing: “Proud of my career and all the amazing clubs I’ve had the privilege to play for – only one club that was missing: My Italian love. Juve, storia di un grande amore.”
