Nottingham Forest hope to have goalkeeper Matz Sels and midfielder Nicolas Dominguez available for Monday’s visit to Fulham, according to Nottingham Post.

Dyche’s side visit the capital on Monday, eight pm kick-off, chasing a third straight win after beating Tottenham Hotspur to move five points clear of the relegation zone.

Sels, groin, and Dominguez, knee, missed the 3-0 win over Thomas Frank’s side at the City Ground, and Sels also sat out last Thursday’s Europa League success in Utrecht. Both could be in contention at Craven Cottage.

Dyche said Dominguez’s knee had calmed down after medical advice it would settle, and they were unwilling to risk him while others return. He added Sels has trained this week and should hopefully be available for selection.

Forest also expect others back soon. Ryan Yates, hamstring, is likely to be out for a while, while Chris Wood, knee, and Ola Aina, hamstring, are progressing.

Wood is working on the grass and not with the group yet. Aina is halfway through his return and training more regularly, but his long-term lay-off means caution.

Aina remains short of true fitness, though making good steps, and most others are back on the grass but still need minutes.

Dominguez’s availability would aid midfield options with Ibrahim Sangare now on Africa Cup of Nations duty. Dyche praised Sangare’s impact, citing a standout display against Sturm Graz and a fine goal against Spurs, and stressed competition for places as players regain fitness.
