Semenyo Gets 9, Cherki With 8 | Manchester City Players Rated In Entertaining Win Vs Sunderland | OneFootball

Manchester City welcomed Sunderland at the Stadium of Light earlier today as they looked to secure a win at home in the Premier League. The Mancunian giants made a quick start to the game and got their noses ahead in the ninth minute when Enzo Fernandez found the back of the net. However, Brian Brobbey equalised for Sunderland just three minutes later. Rayan Cherki put Man City ahead once again in the 29th minute before Brobbey equalised just four minutes later. Antoine Semenyo fired his team ahead in the 43rd minute as Enzo Maresca’s men went into the half-time break 3-2 up on the scoreline.

Semenyo scored again for Man City in the 57th minute before Brobbey completed his hat-trick just a couple of minutes later. Erling Haaland joined in on the goal-scoring act in the 81st minute as Man City earned an entertaining 5-3 win at the Etihad.

Donnarumma made some solid saves at the back but would be disappointed after conceding three times this afternoon.

RB: Matheus Nunes – 6.5/10

He cleared his lines when he could and won a couple of aerial duels.

CB: Ruben Dias – 6/10

Dias dealt with the danger when needed, but failed to keep things solid at the back.

CB: Marc Guehi – 6.5/10

He put his foot through the ball when he could and was good on the ball.

LB: Josko Gvardiol – 7.5/10

He came back to defend when required and managed to secure an assist.

CM: Enzo Fernandez – 7.5/10

Fernandez managed to score early in the game and managed to shine at times on both halves.

CM: Elliot Anderson – 7/10

He worked hard defensively but lacked quality in the final third.

RW: Antoine Semenyo – 9/10

Semenyo was a constant menace in the final third. He managed to score a brace and secured an assist as well.

CAM: Rayan Cherki – 8/10

He caused a few problems for his marker and did well to find the back of the net in the 29th minute.

LW: Iliman Ndiaye – 7/10

Ndiaye managed to impress at times on the right flank, but there was no goal for him.

ST: Erling Haaland – 7.5/10

He was not shy of having a strike at goal and did well to get his name on the scoresheet in the 81st minute.
