Senny Mayulu is ill and will miss Paris Saint-Germain’s Ligue 1 match at Metz on Saturday at 19:00. According to L'Équipe, the 19-year-old stayed at the team hotel and did not go to Stade Saint-Symphorien.

PSG are already without Ousmane Dembélé in attack and must cope without Mayulu against the division’s bottom club.

The versatile midfielder had been named in the travelling squad to Moselle before withdrawing through illness.

Mayulu has established himself in the first-team group, starting PSG’s last three matches, against Athletic Bilbao 0-0, Rennes 5-0 and Monaco 0-1.

He was decisive twice in Brittany, scoring once and providing one assist.

Since 14 September, he has featured in every PSG game, except one Champions League match against Tottenham, either as a starter or from the bench.
