Tijjani Reijnders joined Premier League giants Manchester City from Milan this summer and the former Rossoneri midfielder has made an instant impact at his new club.
In City’s opening Premier League fixture against Wolves on Saturday, Pep Guardiola’s side emerged 4-0 victors and the Dutch midfielder scored one goal and added an assist.

Guardiola described the Dutchman, via BBC, as “a top signing for the coming years for City” and called him “a lovely guy, who has made an impact from day one.”
Premier League legend Alan Shearer told the BBC’s Match of the Day programme that the midfielder was “sensational.”
Reijnders joined Manchester City this summer for a reported figure of €75 million, including add-ons, and the former Milan man has already started to repay his large fee.
After spending two years with Milan, in which the Dutchman really rose to prominence in his final season, Reijnders was named the 2024-25 ‘Best Midfielder’ in Serie A – after scoring 15 goals for the Rossoneri in all competitions.
