Leeds United’s £34m capture of centre-back Tarik Muharemovic from Sassuolo, on a five-year deal, has been endorsed by a Premier League rival who says he suits Daniel Farke’s physical approach. The club have committed their second-highest outlay to replace Pascal Struijk.

The defender’s Bosnia side reached the last-32 before defeat by the USA at the World Cup.
