According to ABC de Sevilla, Sergio Ramos, working with Five Eleven Capital led by Martin Ink, fronts the most solid proposal to buy Sevilla. He is actively seeking new investors to bolster an offer of around 450 million euros.
ABC de Sevilla adds that the bid depends on an internal audit by Ink’s group. If net debt exceeds the 85 million stated by the club’s president, the final price would need to be adjusted. Ramos is in the Andalusian capital to finalise details.
Meanwhile, Antonio Cordón is reshaping the defence. With Patrick Mercado already confirmed as the first signing, the arrivals of Juan Iglesias and Arouna Sangante are viewed as virtually certain.
ABC de Sevilla reports the Sangante agreement is already in place, with the Le Havre centre-back set to join on a free to add aggression to Sevilla’s back line. Andrés Onrubia, writing in Informe Morrocotudo, highlights his leadership despite his youth, plus versatility in open spaces and in a back three.
Onrubia notes Sangante is less dominant in the air but compensates with imposing physicality, excels in duels and ball recoveries, and commits the most fouls in France’s top flight. Cordón’s strategy targets young talent without fees to deliver immediate competitiveness.
Elsewhere, other groups, including the so-called Third Way, remain on alert should talks with the former Sevilla defender fall through. The club’s planning continues regardless, aiming to reclaim European status next season.
