Although the season is not over yet, Real Madrid are already preparing for the next season. Indeed, the club are bracing itself for a busy summer ahead, which could include the departure of key players.
David Alaba seems destined to leave the club, whereas Antonio Rudiger still faces uncertainty about his future at the Bernabeu.
However, one more player who is facing an uncertain future is Andriy Lunin. The goalkeeper, who was instrumental during the 2023/24 campaign, is once again at the centre of transfer speculation, with Inter Milan now eyeing a move.
According to a report from Tuttomercatoweb (h/t Defensa Central), Inter have maintained a long-standing interest in Lunin that has not waned despite his recent lack of minutes.
The Nerazzurri are currently scanning the market for a successor to Yann Sommer, who is entering the final months of his contract in Milan.

Inter reportedly views the current situation as a golden opportunity to land a high-calibre goalkeeper at a reasonable price and will continue to evaluate the 27-year-old over the coming weeks.
Lunin recently signed a contract extension, expressing his desire for professional and personal development at Real Madrid. However, the reality on the pitch has been starkly different.
The primary hurdle for Lunin remains the undisputed form of Thibaut Courtois. Despite managerial changes from Carlo Ancelotti to Xabi Alonso and now Alvaro Arbeloa, Courtois has remained the immovable starter.
The Belgian continues to demonstrate in every session that he is the best in the world, leaving Lunin with virtually no path to the starting eleven.
Real Madrid are reportedly aware of Lunin’s frustration and will not block a departure should he request one.
