According to a report by Gianluigi Longari (h/t Mundo Deportivo), Andres Cuenca, a left-footed centre-back and one of the most promising defensive prospects at FC Barcelona, has attracted interest from clubs in Serie A.
Cuenca, 18, is part of the Barça Atletic setup currently, while he has already made his senior debut for the Blaugrana under Hansi Flick during the 2024/25 season.
However, with his contract expiring at the end of the season, Cuenca’s future at the club is far from certain, with two teams in Serie A showing an interest.
The two teams said to be interested in signing the 18-year-old Barcelona defender are AC Milan and Como, who are coached by Cesc Fabregas.

Como have time and again shown that they remain attentive to young talent from both Barcelona and Real Madrid.
The Italians signed Alex Valle from Barcelona last year, while they have roped in talents like Nico Paz and Jacobo Ramon from Real Madrid. Now they have set their sights on Cuenca.
AC Milan, under Massimiliano Allegri, are looking to freshen things up in their squad and have identified the youngster as a target, given his potential and contract situation.
The report further states that Cuenca has also been monitored by a club from France’s Ligue 1.
A talented, young left-footed defender, it now remains to be seen whether Barcelona decide to renew Cuenca or accept his departure, either now for a small fee or for free in the summer transfer window.
